We Are Many Festival 2008

In August 2009, ACGC joined the Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation (SCIC) at the We Are Many Festival in their “Global Justice and Environment Tent” where, along with Pedro Rodriguez De Los Santos, ACGC facilitated a mural workshop, looking at the Millennium Development Goals and the use of public art in social movements. Festival goers were encouraged to pick up a brush and contribute to the mural! The completed mural then acted as a backdrop for The World Is a Stage, a theatre performance which happened throughout the festival. Many of the festival attendee’s came by the tent and participated.
